The design studios of the Institute of Architecture and Planning are in a former cotton mill providing all students with their own work space. The studio is well suited for design assignments completed in small groups and allows working with large-scale models and plans in close interaction with the instructors. This helps to create an intensive, personal work environment that fosters informal contacts between students of different semesters and instructors and professors, as well as with students and staff from other fields of study.
Model workshops, computer rooms, laser cutters, plotters etc. offer the technical infrastructure necessary for successful studying.
