The practice of architecture requires solid expertise and a clear approach with regard to materials and construction, uses and repercussions, management and economics, sustainability and acceptance. The integration of architecture into residential, commercial, natural and rural contexts is of equal importance. Consequently, renovation, reconstruction and retrofitting are also gaining in significance.

The University of Liechtenstein is characterised by its unique international setting. The Bachelor’s degree programme at the Institute of Architecture and Planning provides students with a solid education.
