In recent years, the University of Liechtenstein has evolved into a recognised, regionally positioned and internationally oriented university-level institution. The University is funded by State allocations, tuition and other allocations. Today’s University significantly contributes to the image of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
As an enterprise, the University of Liechtenstein is bound by basic entrepreneurial principles. Therefore, it is also one of our tasks to secure monetary and non-monetary funding over and above State allocations and tuition. These alternative university funding avenues are becoming increasingly important while providing attractive benefits for sponsors. The University of Liechtenstein sees sponsoring as a targeted endorsement of the University according to the principle of performance and consideration.
Benefit for Sponsors
The potential benefits for sponsors depend on the extent and type of cooperation chosen. For example, sponsors can draw on the circle of students as promising future employees, or they can effectively and publicly demonstrate their responsibility to society through their support.
Sponsor funding may also be earmarked to finance or subsidise specific activities. Of course, in addition to monetary assistance, non-monetary contributions (e.g. computers, books, machines, etc.), services or other benefits (e.g. internship positions for scholarship holders) are also greatly appreciated.
