Committed to Sustainability

We define sustainability as the ability of a community to base its healthy, prosperous and fair development entirely on renewable resources. It is a fundamental regenerative force in all societal domains and disciplines, in research, teaching and practice. Ecological, economic and social vitality forms a unity: it powers innovation and ensures the livability and survivability of our existence.

The University of Liechtenstein is committed to sustainability. Sustainabality is a strategic element. The university is home to a dense and active network in sustainability research and teaching, stretching from Architecture and Planning to Banking and Financial Management, and Taxation, and from Society, Foundation and Trust Law to Entreneurship, Business Management and Economic Informatics. It is carried by engaged people committed to sustainable work as the very focus of their academic and personal endeavours. They represent our community of students and employees as a whole, committed to a sustainable present and future.
