| Admission requirements |
The following minimum prerequisites must be fulfilled prior to admission:
- Completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science as well as both Natural or Engineering Sciences with at least 180 ECTS credits.
- Performance above average in your former study program. Applicants are evaluated based on their individual profile.
- English language proficiency on level C1, provided that English is not the native language.
- Basic knowledge in research methods.

Cost of living
Liechtenstein is one of the European countries with the highest cost of living.
Since the cost of living varies from person to person, the following figures represent estimates:
Rent including utilities - CHF 550.-
Telephone/Mobile - CHF 50.-
Food - CHF 400.-
Health insurance/insurance - CHF 100.-
Clothing, laundry, hygiene - CHF 70.-
Leisure, spending money - CHF 200.-
Minimal cost of living for students at the University of Liechtenstein can be expected to total approximately CHF 1.500.- per month.
Tuition is approximately CHF 750.- per semester and additional costs for course materials are CHF 50.- to 200.- per month, depending on the academic department. Erasmus students pay tuition at their home university.
Opening an account
Students may open an account at the
Verwaltungs- und Privatbank or at the
Liechtensteinische Landesbank in Vaduz. Required documents are a passport and student ID.
