Besides studying, we encourage our students to actively participate in extra-curricular activities. We believe that the work-life balance plays a key role to get the most out of our students, which is why we offer a variety of different projects and clubs to keep our students entertained and shift their focus away from the challenging academic life.

After-Work Lectures

The Chair in Business Administration, Banking and Financial Management organizes a series of after-work lectures each year, with professionals of local and national banks and the financial services industry.

Career Service

Initiated and run by students of the University of Liechtenstein as a point of intersection between students and possible future employers. Based on the many possibilities for cooperation we see our self as a linkage between Science and Practice.

Banking Award Liechtenstein

Highly innovative Master’s theses of graduates are presented with the Banking Award Liechtenstein of the Liechtenstein Bankers Association.

Educational Journey

The educational journey to internationally important financial markets takes place every two years. Destinations in previous years included New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

FL House of Finance

The Institute for Financial Services is consistently expanded by the occupation of new chairs and the expansion of research in stages to an integrated FL House of Finance consistently focused on Wealth Management and strategically focused on the themes of private wealth management, international corporations and international financial centers.

Continuing Education

The continuing education offered by the Institute for Financial Services provides extensive opportunities in the respective areas of expertise: Banking & Finance, Tax and Law. Established study and training courses, conferences, forums, seminars and lectures demonstrate an important link to practice.

Workshop Series:  Wednesday Afternoon Science

Students are invited to participate in monthly workshop series, where researchers from the Chair in Finance and Chair in Buisness Administration, banking and Financial Management present and discuss recent research projects with MSc students.
