As CEO of Zurich IMRE AG, Real Estate division, Cornel Widmer is responsible for the real estate of Zurich and the Zurich Investment Foundation within Switzerland. Zurich IMRE AG manages direct real estate investments with a market value of around 7.3 billion francs at present. Zurich’s real estate portfolio currently consists of around 65 percent residential and around 35 percent business properties, mostly in the agglomerations of Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lausanne and Bern.
