Ingela Lindh, born in 1959, is a Swedish architect and former Head of Stockholm City Planning Administration. Since 2009 she is the CEO of Stockholmshem, one of the largest housing companies in Sweden with over 25 000 flats, owned by the city of Stockholm.Lindh graduated as an architect at the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, in 1986 and worked thereafter at a architectural firm for a year in Siena, Italy. Back in Stockholm she worked as a practising architect at Lennart Bergström Architects and at Arndt, Malmquist and Skoog Architects before she began in Stockholm city service. During 1991-1996 she was political advisor (socialdemocratic) for the Mayor and vice Mayor of Stockholm.In 1996 she left politics and became the Head of the Business unit at the Stockholm City Management Office. Two years later she started as a Department manager at the Stockholm City Planning Administration and in 2000 she became the Head of the whole administration.
