Soccer Tournament

Outdoor Soccer Cup 2011

On Wednesday, May 18, 2011 lots of sports enthusiasts of the University of Liechtenstein met at the gym of the Soccer Club in Schaan for the Outdoor Soccer Cup 2011.
Not only were the weather conditions perfekt for an amazing match, but also did 10 motivated teams show their soccer artistry. The teams conosisted of students and staff of the University of Liechtenstein - and each team needed to at least have one lady on the field. The games itself were very fascinating but also the cheering squads that cheered for their teams made it a very special event.
But of course there could only be one winner in the end: The trophy was earned by "InTeam" - which was the team of students from the MSc in Banking and Financial Management. The trophy for the best cheering squad was given to the team "DormStorm".
SPINNEREI would like to thank all participants and allies that made this amazing and wonderful evening happen. A special thank goes to START (especially Gregor!), the project team "Sports at the University" and our sponsors:
