Professional experience abroad
Would you like to do an internship abroad during your course of study at the University of Liechtenstein? Through the EU educational programme ERASMUS, you can work from 3 to 12 months abroad in Europe and gather professional experience.

Erasmus Placement Mobility Grant
The Erasmus Mobility Grant is an additional grant intended to partially cover your costs of living in your guest country; it is not a full grant. If you are interested in an “Erasmus Work Placement”, please follow the procedure below:

  • Please contact Mirjana Matic-Schädler to get more information about the possibilietes of a placement abroad.
  • After this, arrange your placement. Should you already have found a placement, please log-in as a student.
Please first login as student: Login
  • Once a placement has been agreed, please sign the financial agreement with the International Office. Also, write the intermediate and/or final report.
  • The grant will be paid in two installments, depending on the length of your stay. Once the final report has been completed, we will pay you the final installment of your grant.
Grant applications must be sent to the Agency for International Educational Affairs at least one month before the start of your internship.

Salary: Unpaid (But you obtain an Erasmus grant)

Ass.ArtEtCulture.Européen a.s.b.l. is promoting art and culture and is a cross-border and interdisciplinary organisation. ArtEtCutlure has been enfahed with the mediation and the understanding between the art and cultural sectors, the economy, politics and other social groups and organisation, slao across the frontier of Luxemburg.
In the near future we hope to launch several projects and during the next weeks and months we are making arrangements and preparations for various exhibitions, concerts and workshops.

Tasks
Currently, we are about to launch a couple of projects and in the neyt weeks and months we need to organize and carry out several exhibitions, concerts and workshops.

We would need support in different areas such as:

-  Press and public relations

-  Creation of press releases

-  Networking with press distribution lists and journalists

-  Preparation of brochures
-  Creation and update of a newsletter

-  Organisation, coordination and assistance of artists and participants of the program

-  Aktualisieren von Kontaktdaten, Kontaktpflege und Korrespondenz

-  Assistance with the execution of events

 

Overall a diverse administrative task where we search for an assistant who is interested in the Luxemburgian cultural environment.

KWe are searching for a young, dynamic, flexible person, who is supports us with the administrative tasks in this cultural environment. We would consider the applicants personal experience and competencies, as well as individual career aspirations.


Skills required
• Languages: German and French are very important, as well as English is an advantage
• Skilled in MS Word and Excel
• Ability to work in a team
• Open and sociable
• Independently working

A special advantage and a preference for the selection is a student in the field of cultural marketing or management, cultural studies, Art Pedagogy, Art Therapy, who wants to gain practical experience in a cultural environment.

Time frame
As of March 2012 (or later)
Minumum period: 6 months, preferrably 12 months
