Mobility for lecturers and staff
A stay abroad is not only possible for students - also our lecturers and staff can participate, e.g. by teaching at one of our Erasmus partner universities or by getting a glimpse of one of the administrative departments at a partner university. Grants covering travel and living costs can be requested from the International Office. More details can be found in the general information. The stay abroad has to be approved by the direct supervisor. The employee also has to fill in an application for continuing education.

Applications for lecturer resp. staff mobility grants must be made at least one month before the start of the stay abroad to the International Office.

Lecturers of the Faculty of Architecture are asked to coordinate the desired stay abroad beforehand with Prof. Urs Meister.

 University of Economics, Prague

As announced in December 2011, we are happy to invite you and your colleagues to participate in our annual Prague International Week - staff training for our partners that will take place on May 14th-18th 2012 at the University of Economics, Prague, Czech Republic.

This training is aimed mainly at our colleagues from International Offices.

- its main focus will be different aspects of internationalization, especially student exchanges (a preliminary programme is attached). Please, feel free to forward this invitation to all your eligible colleagues.(See attached file: Preliminary Programme_2012.pdf)

The training capacity is 20 participants, you can register until the capacity lasts but not later that on February 10th by submitting the online google application form at:

The final list of participants will be announced by the end of February when we will also provide detailed information about accommodation possibilities (we have reserved reasonably priced dormitory rooms but we can also help with hotel reservations).

University of Lodz

University of Lodz has the pleasure to invite you for the fourth edition of the Erasmus Staff Training Week for administrative officers organized by the University of Lodz. The training will take place on the 14th-18th of May 2012 (the training activities will be held from Monday until Friday).

If you wish to participate in the training, fill in the Application Form and return it to the email address (This e-mail address is being protected from spam boots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it) by 1st April 2012.

The University of Lodz may accept max. 12 people for the Erasmus Staff Training Week preferably 1 or 2 administrative staff from the same university. The Erasmus Staff Training Week is mainly addressed to staff knowledgeable about Erasmus issues.
