mobility online - Application process
You may apply if you are a student at one of our partner universities and wish to participate in a semester abroad with us. For a regular full-time programme as an international student, the normal application process applies. As a visiting student, you require a residence permit in Liechtenstein. This is an important step in the application procedure.

To come to University of Liechtenstein as an exchange student you must:
- check with your university to see if there is a bilateral agreement with us. Click here to see the list of universities (categorized by country) that theUniversity of Liechtenstein has bilateral agreements with.
- Register online and submit your application with all the required documents by email or regular mail by the 15th of May for the winter semester and by the 15th of November for the summer semester. To register online click here.

- During the registration process you will be asked to submit
- your transcript of records
- a proof of sufficient knowledge of English or German (depending on the modules you choose)
- the learning agreement - your portfolio (if you want to study Architecture)
Additional information:
- For our guest students we offer an Introduction Week which starts either in the end of September or in the end of February, one week before the beginning of the semester. Our Introduction Week is honoured with 2ECTS, the weekly German lessons during the semester with 3 ECTS.
- German lessons can be attended during the Introduction Week, during August at Lake Constance Summer School and on a weekly basis during the semester.
- As soon as the University of Liechtenstein can grant you admission, one of our staff members will inform you about the visa procedures and will offer further guidance. From then on you can also download your Letter of Acceptance online.
- We provide student housing for our guest students in our student residence. If you wish to rent a room at our residence, please fill in our accommodation inquiry form as soon as you are asked to do so during the application process.

Proof of English
To participate in the courses taught at the University of Liechtenstein, an upper-intermediate Level B2 (+) is required. You can submit any diploma or certificate. Certificates of attainment are also accepted.

Introduction Week
Our Introduction Week is a combination of German lessons and an introduction to the culture in Liechtenstein. The German classes are voluntary and continue during the semester for all students who want to participate. Participation in the German classes during the Introduction Week is honoured with 2 ECTS. Participation in the German classes during the Introduction Week and the semester are honoured with 3 ECTS.
