Student Dormitory

The new student dormitory is placed very near to the university in the Fürst-Franz-Josef-Strasse 15-17, 9490 Vaduz Liechtenstein.

The student dormitory consists of two three-storey buildings. Buildings: “A” and “B” are laterally reversed.

There are six single and three double rooms at every level, a large shared kitchen / living room area, a laundry room and three shared bathrooms.

Rooms (18 sq m) are equipped with a bed, a wardrobe, a bookshelf, a desk (with drawer to be locked), a chair and a rubbish bin. Curtains are provided as well as sheets, pillows, and duvets. Extra heaters, radiators, fridges, or cooking plates are not permitted in rooms due to safety regulations.

In the common kitchen you find a microwave, an oven, and a fridge with a freezer. Kitchensare furnished with a dining table and chairs. Storage shelves in the fridge and wall cupboards are provided for each student. In the living room there is a sofa, an armchair and a TV set. The laundry room features a washing and drier machine (coin-operated). This is also where you can leave your clothes to dry. Bathrooms are shared between three or four persons and contain a toilet, a shower and a wash basin.

If required, an extra welcome kit at the price of 50.- CHF can be prepared for you containing several pots, 1 pan, 2 glasses, 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 tea cloths, a cutlery, etc.

Room booking
Your admission as an exchange or regular student will grant you access to the on-line booking system. You can book your room yourself using your personal login and password. To make your booking for a place / room in the student dormitory, a deposit of CHF 1000.- (or EUR 850.-) needs to be issued to the university in the following three days after booking. Otherwise your booking will be cancelled.A single room costs CHF 560.- per month. A place in a double room costs CHF 350.- per month. A parking place at the parking area in front of the student dormitory costs CHF 30.- per month.

Arrival to student residence
In case you are arriving from Feldkirch, Schaan or Buchs Railway Station, take a bus (“Liechtenstein Bus”- green), get off at Ebenholz/ Uni bus stop. It is a two min. walk uphill to the student residence(behind the white church).More information concerning arrival is available on our website:

The student dormitory is located on the same street as the University of Liechtenstein. It takes 2-3 min. to get to the University on foot. Walking to Vaduz center takes about 10-15 min., a bus ride takes about 2-3 min.
