Business Process Management (BPM) is one of the most significant competences for management trainees. The annual Gartner study “Meeting the Challenge” confirms this fact – for the fifth consecutive year, skills to improve business processes are mentioned as a top priority of CIOs from leading companies (Gartner 2009). Promising career opportunities are connected to BPM. But what is meant by BPM and how can you benefit from this trend? These key questions are answered in the present article.
