Tätigkeit
Theresa Schmiedel ist Assistenzprofessorin am Hilti Lehrstuhl für Business Process Management an der Universität Liechtenstein. Sie hat einen Doktortitel in Wirtschaftswissenschaften von der Universität Liechtenstein und ein Diplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften von der Universität Hohenheim, Deutschland, das sie teilweise an der York University, Toronto, Kanada erworben hat. Sie arbeitete als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Soziologie und empirische Sozialforschung der Universität Hohenheim und am Zentrum für Angewandte Kulturwissenschaft der Universität Karlsruhe, Deutschland. Ihre Forschung konzentriert sich auf soziale Phänomene in der Wirtschaftsinformatik, insbesondere auf die Rolle von Kultur im Prozessmanagement (siehe: www.bpm-culture.org). Sie hat bereits einige Forschungsprojekte im Bereich Prozessmanagement geleitet, die u.a. vom Liechtensteiner Forschungsförderungsfond gefördert wurden. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in verschiedenen Fachzeitschriften, darunter Information & Management, Enterprise Information Systems und Business Process Management Journal, veröffentlicht, sowie in akademischen Büchern und Tagungsbänden. Ihre Forschung wurde mit dem Liechtenstein-Preis für Nachwuchsforschende 2013 ausgezeichnet.
