The public event "Meet the Ambassadors" is a new format that is designed for interested students, company representatives, administration and the public from Liechtenstein and the region.

The first Meet the Ambassadors "ASEAN Ambassador Day" on 23 March 2018 aims at debating and discussing economic, political, and cultural characteristics, as well as challenges and opportunities in certain key regions.

Highlights:

• Welcome Address by Aurelia Frick, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Justice and Culture, Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein
• Introduction by Jürgen Brücker, President, University of Liechtenstein
• Moderation and Panel Discussion: Daniel Woker, Co-founder Share-an-Ambassador Fmr. Swiss Ambassador (Kuwait, Singapore, Australia), Senior Lecturer, University of St. Gallen HSG, Independent Media Columnist
• Speech by HE. Mr. PHAM Hai Bang, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Swiss Confederation
• Panel Discussion with Ambassadors of Viet Nam, Malaysia and Laos and Chargés d'affaires of the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.

• HE. Mr. Kham-Inh KHITCHADETH, Ambassador/Permanent Representative of the Lao PDR to the Swiss Confederation and Permanent Mission of the Lao PDR to the UN Office, WTO and other International Organizations in Geneva
• HE. Sharrina ABDULLAH, Ambassador of the Republic of Malaysia to the Swiss Confederation
• HE. Mr. PHAM Hai Bang, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Swiss Confederation
• Mr. Timbul SITUMORANG, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Indonesia to the Swiss Confederation
• Ms. Maria Theresa S.M. LAZARO, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of the Philippines to the Swiss Confederation
• Ms. Jaithai UPAKARNITIKASET, Minister-Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy to the Swiss Confederation
