Mr. Jacek Czarnecki will talk about "Decentralized securities trading-legal challenges and solutions". Burgeoning innovation within the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) space results in novel ways to trade crypto-assets. Those technologies are also considered for trading of more traditional asset classes, including securities. The talk will discuss the key regulatory challenges and opportunities with respect to decentralized securities trading. (Vortrag auf Englisch)
Zum Vortragenden: Jacek Czarnecki is a PhD candidate at the University of Zurich and a graduate of Oxford and Warsaw universities, as well as a CEO and founder of Fountain.li, a Liechtenstein-based fintech and blockchain startup.
Anschliessend wird Thomas Nägele über "Secondary Markets for Security Token and the European Commission's draft of a pilot regime for market infrastructures based on distributed ledger technology" referieren. Beabsichtigte Neuerungen im europäischen Gesetzgebungsprozess werden den Markt für Blockchain-Produkte neu gestalten. Der Vortrag widmet sich unter anderem einem Ausblick auf die neuen Entwürfe und möglichen Auswirkungen auf die Gesetzeslage in Liechtenstein. (Vortrag auf Deutsch)
