Current compliance developments

This year's Compliance Day 2022 will focus not only on the latest trends in compliance, but also on developments in due diligence, which will be discussed in an exchange with top-class experts from Liechtenstein and abroad.

After the pandemic-related change, it is a particular pleasure for us to welcome participants and speakers in person again in the auditorium of the University of Liechtenstein. Ass.-Prof. Dr. Alexandra Butterstein, LL.M., Head of the Institute for Business Law and Representative of the Chair of Company, Foundation and Trust Law at the University of Liechtenstein will guide you through the half-day event.
The first part will take up four highly relevant topics of current compliance developments. Both from the perspective of banking supervision and that of a bank, the "Management of Compliance Risks" will be discussed in the context of sanctions. In addition, "best practice sanctions" and "sustainable finance and compliance" will be discussed.

Following a question-and-answer session, the second block of the conference will focus on developments in due diligence. In this context, whistleblowing management, governance regarding insurance as well as clarification obligations and third-party evidence will be examined.

Target Audience

Compliance officers in banks, insurance companies, funds and other financial service providers, lawyers, trustees, auditors, employees of administrative authorities as well as commercial and industrial companies who are interested in a well-founded further training in compliance and have to do with it in their everyday professional life at present or in the future.
