Jan vom Brocke and Alexander Simons are nominated for the Best Paper Award at the European Conference on Information Systems with their paper "A Business Process Perspective on Enterprise Content Management: Towards a Framework for Organisational Change". The ECIS is the annual European conference on Business Information Systems and one of the most important scientific conferences worldwide. This year's ECIS takes place from June 9-11 at the National University of Ireland in Galway. With their contribution, Jan and Alexander introduce an approach to the Content Management, which was developed in cooperation with the Hilti AG. The project is funded by the research development foundation of the Principality of Liechtenstein. The research paper was developed in cooperation with Anne Cleven of the ERCIS partner in St. Gallen, Chair Robert Winter.
