Four International Office teams from universities in Norway, Poland, Spain and Liechtenstein are meeting in Oslo for another Leonardo Workshop in the scope of the project entitled “Foreign Students at our University from A to Z”.


Four International Office teams from universities in Norway, Poland, Spain and Liechtenstein are meeting in Oslo for another Leonardo Workshop in the scope of the project entitled “Foreign Students at our University from A to Z”.

The first meeting took place at the University of Liechtenstein in April 2012. Now the International Office team and the Head of the Study Administration department are meeting colleagues from Poland, Spain and Norway for a two-day Leonardo Workshop at the Diakonhjemmet University College in Oslo. The main aim of the exchange and mobility project is to define a common strategy to improve the organization, quality and transparency of exchange programmes. Additional meetings at the partner universities in Poland and Spain, the College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin and the Colegio Juan Comenius in Valencia, have been scheduled for the next two years.

Knowledge transfer – international and practice-oriented
At the meeting in Oslo on 11 and 12 October 2012, the registration and admission process for exchange students is being discussed. The four teams from Poland, Spain, Norway and Liechtenstein can take the opportunity to learn from the different experiences and practices of the other university staff. In addition to opportunities for the exchange of experiences, the Oslo schedule includes a tour of the campus, a meeting with lecturers who teach international students at the University of Liechtenstein , and a visit to the Nobel Peace Center.

The “Foreign Students at our University from A to Z” project is being implemented in the scope of the Leonardo da Vinci Programme and is supported by AIBA Liechtenstein. The EU programme for partnership in vocational education and training supports studies abroad, projects to transfer or develop innovative practices, partnerships, networks, preparatory visits and contact seminars.
