Learning Outcomes

  • Students will know how processes can be modeled, analyzed, simulated and improved.
  • Students will know basic and advanced methods of process modeling in order to analyze, design, and implement information systems in organizations.
  • Students will use both qualitative and quantitative methods of process analysis and simulation in order to analyze, design, and improve business processes in organizations.
  • Students will learn four ways to process improvement.

Lectures Method

The module integrates theoretical knowledge and practical skills in an interactive lecture.The e-learning platform Moodle will be used throughout the course for the dissemination of course material and discussions.
