Knowledge transfer and networking: After the successful kick-off of the series of round-table discussions on business process management (BPM) in December 2011, the Institute of Information Systems invites to the second event with regional experts on Thursday, 26 April 2012.

Inspired by extensive feedback from the participants of the first event, the second discussion will focus on the topic “BPM and corporate culture”. Participation in the event is free, and open to all interested parties; however, we kindly ask you to register by sending an e-mail to oliver.mueller@uni.li.

Once Professor Jan vom Brocke, who holds the Hilti Chair of Business Process Management, has welcomed the participants, Heiko Rosenbohm from Hilti IT will speak on the topic “Culture as a success factor for BPM at Hilti”. Theresa Schmiedel, academic researcher at the University of Liechtenstein, will then present the results of a global study on culture and BPM. In a concluding discussion with the round-table participants, the following questions, among others, will be addressed: How can BPM be anchored in my company? What are the central values in process management? What are the challenges which might be encountered? At a subsequent drinks reception, these and other topics can be further discussed with the members of the Institute of Information Systems.

Networking with regional experts
