Study scholarships for European Forum Alpbach 2014

This year’s European Forum Alpbach will be taking place from 13 to 29 August under the motto ‘At the Crossroads’. With support from the University of Liechtenstein, Club Alpbach Liechtenstein is offering students the opportunity of applying for full scholarships to attend the interdisciplinary international conference.



This year’s European Forum Alpbach will be taking place from 13 to 29 August under the motto ‘At the Crossroads’. With support from the University of Liechtenstein, Club Alpbach Liechtenstein is offering students the opportunity of applying for full scholarships to attend the interdisciplinary international conference



The scholarships not only cover course fees (for a week of seminars, including workshops and lectures) but also comprise the cost of overnight accommodation at a bed and breakfast in Alpbach. Those attending the European Forum can look forward to a one-week programme in one of the most beautiful villages of Europe, with more than 600 scholarship students from over 40 different countries attending, along with prominent personalities from the worlds of politics, business, academia and culture. The event will include workshops, seminars and fireside discussions with experts from many different disciplines. Students can also take time out to benefit from the wide range of cultural and sporting activities that Alpbach has to offer.

Closing date for applications: 14 April
Scholarship applications should consist of either a motivation letter or an essay on this year’s theme ‘At the Crossroads’ (no more than two pages), a CV and confirmation of student status, and should be submitted in an e-mail to info@clubalpbach.li by 14 April.
