- Dr. Béatrice Hasler forscht und lehrt an der Schnittstelle von Psychologie und Technologie mit einem Fokus auf die psychologischen und gesellschaftlichen Auswirkungen der Digitalisierung. Ihre Arbeit adressiert aktuelle Herausforderungen der Mensch-KI-Interaktion, hybriden Intelligenz (Zusammenarbeit zwischen Mensch und Künstlicher Intelligenz), sowie die digitale Transformation der Arbeitswelt im Kontext der Future of Work.
Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der mensch-zentrierten Digitalisierung, die technologische Entwicklungen mit den Bedürfnissen, Fähigkeiten und Werten der Nutzer:innen in Einklang bringt. In diesem Rahmen erforscht sie unter anderem den Einsatz von immersiven und neuen Technologien - sowohl hinsichtlich ihrer Anwendungsmöglichkeiten als auch ihrer psychologischen Effekte. Weitere Interessensfelder sind digitale Resilienz und Medienkompetenz, technologiegestützte Konfliktlösung, sowie die soziotechnischen und psychologischen Dimensionen von Cybersicherheit und Desinformation.

Béatrices Forschung wurde u.?a. von der EU (Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship), dem Schweizerischen Nationalfonds (SNF) und der Israel Science Foundation gefördert.
