Conference on Pension Finance and the Teaching of Pension Finance

The Institute for Finance at the University of Liechtenstein is pleased to announce a call for papers for a small conference on pension finance and the teaching of pension finance, which will be held on August 29, 2019 at the University of Liechtenstein in Vaduz, Principality of Liechtenstein.

The conference will consist of two main topics:

1) Research in Pension Finance:
We want to bring together academic researchers in the area of pension finance to present and discuss their work as well as recent developments in the area of pension finance. Topics in this track include all areas of pension finance.

2) Research on Teaching of Pension Finance:
Additionally, we want to bring together academic researchers, practitioners and policy makers to present their work and discuss recent advances as well as challenges in teaching and explaining pension finance to students in related areas as well as the general public. Topics in this track may include, but are not limited to contributions on:

  • Pensions technology, communication and plan design
  • Innovative Savings
  • Social inclusion
  • Financial solutions for the Payout phase
  • Behavioral aspects and experimental evidence on pension finance

Extendet Abstracts or Papers (including an abstract) and your contact details should be submitted to pensionfinance2019@uni.li (referenced as "Call for Papers"). Papers will be reviewed by a distinguished referee panel.

Final paper submission: June 21, 2019, Acceptance notification: June 28, 2019
