Inhalt

"ESG Kompakt" serves as a platform to strengthen the exchange between various players in the financial and real economy and to illuminate the topic of sustainability from various perspectives and put it up for discussion.

To this end, each seminar will focus on a specific aspect and look at it from both a theoretical and practical perspective. These topics can be of macroeconomic and political relevance, include regulatory aspects, shed light on the integrability of ESG criteria in existing investment approaches, discuss the data basis of existing ESG ratings or, in the broader context, examine the interfaces of ESG and impact investing, philanthropy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The overall aim is to bring together the interests, expectations and challenges of investors, the private sector and policy makers in one forum and to stimulate a holistic discussion on sustainable development.

The upcoming seminar on the topic “Mobilizing Philanthropic Capital into Impact Investing” stands under the patronage of the Association of Liechtenstein Charitable Foundation and Trusts (VLGST) and LIFE Climate Foundation Liechtenstein.

Mirjam Garzon, Senior Advisor, Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), Fabio Segura, Co-CEO Jacobs Foundation and Oliver Karius, CEO LGT Venture Philanthropy Foundation, will shed light on the following questions:

  • How can foundations create more outcomes through impact investing and why should they consider it?
  • Which solutions help to scale philanthropic capital into impact investing?
  • How can impact be measured?

We are looking forward to your participation as well as an exciting and lively discussion.
