Alessio Maria Braccini

Alessio Maria Braccini is a PhD student in Management of Information Systems at the LUISS "Guido Carli" University in Rome (Italy). He is a research fellow at the CeRSI - Centro di Ricerca sui Sistemi Informativi (Research Center on Information Systems). He is constantly involved in lectures, seminars and research activities held by the research center. In the past year he has been actively involved in lecturers on: Organization Studies, IS management, Informatics, Business Information Systems, Research Methodologies and Epistemology.

His main research interest is the use of ontologies as communication mechanisms in support of organizational impact of information technology investments improvement. He is also interested in Open Source software development and in business modeling methodologies for IT-based products and services.

For the period September 2008 - January 2009 he is a Hilti fellow at the Hochschule Liechtenstein.
