• This course covers: Data retrieval from different sources important for Finance (ThomsonReuters Eikon, finance.yahoo.com and others)The import of such data into excel (for possible data manipulation) and R (for further analysis)

Learning Outcomes

• Students understand ThomsonReuters Eikon and how they can find and download relevant dataStudents are able to import and manipulate such data sets with Excel and RStudents gain knowledge on and the necessary instruments to analyse these datasetsStudents know how to visualize and present such results with tables and graphics
