Content
The speaker will discuss the recent case law developed by the Constitutional and Administrative Courts, highlighting in particular issues important for practice. On the basis of the Constitutional Court's recent case law on fundamental rights, there will be a presentation of various decisions, ranging from decisions concerning the legality of retroactive application of statutory provisions and of invasion of privacy during a seizure of goods or house searches, remedying a violation of the right to a fair and public hearing, to decisions concerning the scope of the right to religious freedom.
Many of the Constitutional Court's decisions are also concerned with constitutional aspects of granting legal aid. Following a presentation of case law on this topic, an overview will also be provided of the Administrative Court's case law on issues of law concerning migrants.
