At the beginning of Advent, the international students of the University of Liechtenstein would like to thank the neighbors of the dormitory in Vaduz with mulled wine and home baked waffles for good neighborhood.
At this pre-Christmas event on Monday, 16 December 2019 at 6.00 p.m. in front of the dorm all residents and interested persons are invited. The aim of the evening with waffles, biscuits and mulled wine is to get to know better about our multicultural dorm neighborhood. In addition, the residents from over 35 different countries of the world will offer an insight into the respective Christmas traditions of their homeland.
Cultural diversity in the middle of Liechtenstein
The student dormitory of the University of Liechtenstein offers 72 accommodation possibilities for students all over the world. Currently, all places are filled with people from over 35 different nations including Belgium, Ecuador, Russia and Peru. Many exchange students come for one or two semesters from partner universities such as the University Lappeenranta, Finland, the Vietnam National University, Vietnam or the TU Munich to Liechtenstein. The meeting of the different cultures living in the dorm is multifaceted. An exchange with local students and the local population is ensured by regular, cross-cultural events.
