For the fifth time, the annual university ball will be held at the university’s campus in Vaduz. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the European exchange programme, this year’s ball on 9 November 2012 will be held under the theme Erasmus.

In 2012, the Erasmus programme is celebrating 25 years of success. Since 1995, the University of Liechtenstein has been benefiting from the programme through numerous exchanges of students, lecturers and staff with other European universities. Those attending this year’s university ball can look forward to a grand night with a cosmopolitan feel – the spirit of Erasmus. This year, the university ball for students, lecturers and other university staff, as well as enthusiastic local ballroom dancers, will be opened with a dance by the international students. The night’s theme, Erasmus, will also be reflected in the international culinary delights served during the three-course dinner. Musical entertainment for the night will be provided by the bands Franz Rimini and Hotel Palindrone, as well as by a DJ. In addition to the usual locale, there will also be a champagne lounge, where people can enjoy the later hours of the night in a relaxed atmosphere. This year’s tombola, featuring many attractive prizes, is sure to be another highlight.

The admission fee is CHF 25.00. Tickets including a seat and dinner are CHF 60.00. All tickets can be ordered via www.uniball.li. The link also directs you to general information, the programme, and photos from the previous years’ balls.
