The knowledge magazine «Denkraum» aims to highlight the entrepreneurial and scientific drive of the Alpine Rhine Valley-Lake Constance region. Society, business and science are nowadays shaped by global developments which have a lasting impact on  life in the economic location of Vorarlberg, Lake Constance, Eastern Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Values in society, culture and business

What can entrepreneurs contribute to  the creation of shared value in society and business? How can a meaningful and materially secure future be designed? What are consequences and opportunities of the Swiss currency decision on the Alpine Rhine Valley? How do company values affect value creation? What opportunities do regional  companies have when competing for new talent against metropolitan areas? How can the old Maisäss culture in Montafon be preserved and revived? What is needed to develop Liechtenstein into a global data centre? The May 2015 issue of «Denkraum» addresses these and further questions with its main topic “creating value”.

Target group and cooperation

The knowledge magazine is aimed at all residents of the Alpine Rhine Valley-Lake Constance region: employees and freelancers, pupils and teachers, SMEs and global players. Great emphasis is placed on the cooperation and connection between the University of Liechtenstein and companies, institutions, municipalities and initiatives of the region such as Hilti AG, the Stand Montafon or the LIFE Climate Foundation.

Distribution and number of copies

With a total number of 52,000 copies, the knowledge magazine is distributed to households in Liechtenstein, Buchs and Vorarlberg. An electronic version is available on www.uni.li/publikationen as a PDF and ISSUU download.
