On Tuesday, 27 August 2013, five employees working for American members of congress were accompanied by Matthew Keller, Senior Political Advisor at the Embassy of Liechtenstein in Washington, D.C., on a visit to the Principality of Liechtenstein.

In an attempt to show the visitors as many sides of Liechtenstein as possible, the congressional staffers were given a tour of the University of Liechtenstein in the company of Kerstin Appel-Huston, a government employee for the Principality of Liechtenstein.

During the course of the campus tour, Professor Michael Hanke, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Learning at the University of Liechtenstein, and Head of the International Office, Trudi Ackermann, provided insights into student life and the range of courses at the Institute of Architecture and Planning  and the Faculty of Business Economics.

As a souvenir of their visit to the principality, the thrilled staffers will take with them their impressions of Liechtenstein as an education location, together with a lasting memory of the University of Liechtenstein.
