Dr Jan Recker appointed first LCAIS Research Fellow


Dr Jan Recker, Associate Professor,Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, has been appointed the first research fellow of the Liechtenstein Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (LCAIS).

Dr Jan Recker, Associate Professor,Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, has been appointed the first research fellow of the Liechtenstein Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (LCAIS). The LCAIS promotes the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among scholars and professionals engaged in the development, management, and use of information systems in Liechtenstein and the Rhine Valley.

As an LCAIS fellow, Jan will visit the Institute of Information Systems on a regular basis and conduct collaborative research in the area of IT-enabled design of sustainable enterprises. The first result of the collaboration, a research paper on enablers and barriers to the successful adoption of sustainable business practices, has already been presented at the 16th Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS 2010) in Lima, Peru. We look forward to welcoming Jan in January 2011 again.
