European Solarprize awarded

As in previous years, Prof. Peter Droege, Chair of Sustainable Spatial Development at the Institute of Architecture and Planning and President of Eurosolar, is again chairman of the jury for the European Solar Prize. Awarded was the city Sidney.

In the context of the European Solar Prize in Rome, which was awarded to Sidney, Mike Rann, the Australian Ambassador in Italy, refers to the currently adopted sustainable spatial development plan of the city, inter alia, a 100% independence from fossil electricity and thermal energy, which is obligated until 2030.
