Starting on 6 July, this year’s summer exhibition by the Institute of Architecture and Planning entitled “FRAME : WORK” will show student projects in the architecture studio.

In the 2012 summer semester, the 14 design studios in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes took a critical look at the handling of existing architecture and the integration of future architecture into the built environment. What should be done with existing religious buildings that are no longer used as such? How can the Walser settlement in Steg continue to develop sustainably? Or how are social neighbourhoods structured? This is just a small selection of the issues raised during a semester spent working towards finding architectural and planning-related solutions.

The vernissage of the “Frame : Work” exhibition will be held in the architecture studio of the University of Liechtenstein on 6 July 2012 at 4 p.m. The exhibition will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during weekdays until 27 July. Entry is free.
