LGT visits the University of Liechtenstein

LGT is sending 18 Key Hires from Hong Kong and Singapore to Liechtenstein under the auspices of LGT Experience Week in Europe.

This educational trip involves a visit by the delegation to the University of Liechtenstein, to give them the opportunity of familiarising themselves with the asset structures and financial instruments that Liechtenstein offers.

Professor Martin Wenz, Head of the Institute for Financial Services and holder of the Chair for Tax Management and the Laws of Liechtenstein and International Taxation, gave the LGT Senior Relationship Manager from Hong Kong and Singapore a detailed account of ‘Liechtenstein as a Wealth Management Centre’. His lecture covered such topics as Liechtenstein tax policy, the wealth management structure and basic regulatory framework of the country.

‘I am particularly pleased that this is now the second time, following the first visit in 2014, that LGT Experience Week has had recourse to the expertise of the House of Finance at the University of Liechtenstein, with the aim of highlighting and discussing the special features of Liechtenstein as a financial centre.’
