Liechtenstein Student won „Best Paper Student Award“ on the international conference WIRTSCHAFTSINFORMATIK 2011 in Zurich


1,400 participants attended the conference “Wirtschaftsinformatik” at the University of Zurich. A student track – devoted to the contributions of motivated students – was offered the first time with this conference. A Liechtenstein student, Mr. Andreas Pichler, won the “Student Best Paper Award” which was awarded by an international Jury.

A Liechtenstein student, Mr. Andreas Pichler, won the “Student Best Paper Award” which was awarded by an international Jury.

Andreas Pichler is an Alumni of the University of Liechtenstein where he studied “Business Process Management” at the Institute of Information Systems. His Thesis "Flexibility in Business Process Management Systems by Case-based Reasoning" was awarded by the Hilti Price for best master’s thesis in 2010.

The conference “Wirtschaftsinformatik” is one of the most important in the German-speaking community. Students from Germany, Austria and Switzerland participated in the student track which was offered the first time. The Best Paper Award was funded by SAP Switzerland with a contribution of 5000 CHF.
