The University of Liechtenstein already has a tradition of training apprentices. It has trained commercial and IT apprentices for many years, and some of the former apprentices now work as valued members of the university team. At the start of the 2012/13 winter semester, four young persons from Liechtenstein began their training, two on commercial apprenticeships and two in IT (systems technology and application development).

The University of Liechtenstein as a training centre and employer
However, for the University of Liechtenstein, training apprentices is not just an opportunity to train its future staff but is regarded as a social responsibility. As a centre of education and research, as well as knowledge and technology transfer, the University of Liechtenstein supports young people not only as a place of study but also as a training centre. During their training, the apprentices are prepared to cope with constantly changing economic and social demands, and their social skills and abilities are fostered alongside vocational skills.

We wish our apprentices all the best and every success for their training at the university and their further development.
