After having been appointed a visiting professor at the highly regarded University of St. Gallen in 2013, Professor Sascha Kraus, Associate Professor at the Institute for Entrepreneurship of the University of Liechtenstein, has now received a further visiting professorship from the Copenhagen Business School.

Sascha Kraus, Associate Professor at the Institute for Entrepreneurship of the University of Liechtenstein, was recently chosen by the leading German business journal Handelsblatt as one of the top 20 business management researchers in his field in German-speaking countries. Having already received the honour of a visiting professorship at the highly regarded University of St. Gallen in the academic year 2013-14, the Liechtenstein business management expert has now drawn the attention of another leading European university.

Internationally distinguished partners

With more than 20,000 students, Denmark’s Copenhagen Business School is one of the biggest business universities in the world and has achieved top positions in various university rankings. It has now appointed the Liechtenstein researcher as visiting professor for the current summer semester. His appointment is associated with the reactivation of the official partnership between the Danish university and the University of Liechtenstein. On the initiative of the Copenhagen Business School a collaboration under the auspices of the EU ERASMUS+ programme has been revived, in order to acquire the talents of Professor Kraus, as an acknowledged expert in the field of entrepreneurship, for joint projects in research and education.

The appointment of Professor Sascha Kraus as visiting professor at the Copenhagen Business School is also linked with a revitalisation of cooperation between the Danish university and the University of Liechtenstein in general terms.

Acknowledgement of quality

The University of Liechtenstein has expressed its great satisfaction that top European universities are taking such a proactive interest in formal cooperation with the institution and its experts. Under the auspices of the collaboration just mentioned, Professor Kraus and his Danish colleagues will be principally looking into the entrepreneurial orientation of what are known as ‘professional service firms’ with the help of large-scale empirical surveys, in order to draw conclusions for the national economy in question.
