Dynamics drive change and occur in all areas, whether it is in everyday life or in companies. Thus, they represent an important aspect to consider in organizations, yet they have been little studied and understood so far.In this dissertation project, the topic of dynamics and their impact on organizational processes as well as the different capability areas of process management, such as technology, methods, strategic alignment, governance, people and culture, will be examined in more detail.
In particular, the constant change within innovative and fast-growing organizations is considered with the impact on their processes. This is done within the scope of Process Science, an emerging scientific field that studies continuous change with a focus on processes.
In this respect, the dissertation is expected to provide valuable contributions to research in the areas of Information Systems, Process Science and Dynamics within organizations.
