COVID-19 Situation

Unfortunately, the current COVID-19 situation is causing many changes and adjustments here in Liechtenstein, so it is important to us that you are properly prepared:

General Info

The Welcome Week will take place on the university campus. However, due to the Corona situation, the university will remain closed for teaching during the summer semester 2021. This does not apply to the library. For those who won´t be able to attend the Welcome Week on Campus we will provide an online alternative (more information via email). There will be a clear rule at the university during Welcome Week: Keep a distance of 2 meters and wear a mask.

Wear a mask!

Wearing masks is obligatory in the corridors, and larger groups will not be allowed to form on the campus. So make sure you bring a mouth and nose protector with you.

Don't be late!

In order to be able to stick to our Welcome Week Programme please make sure to be on time, especially on 4th of February 9 a.m.

Check your mails and our webpage regularly!

We will keep you up to date on all developments on this page and by email.

Take your notebook & headphones with you!

Bring your own notebook and headphones to ensure that you are optionally able to join our Virtual Platform (especially if you stay on Campus after the morning programme.

Quarantine situation

People from border areas like Austria are considered commuters, at least as we understand it, and would have to be able to enter the border with a student ID or with the inscription sheet. However, there is no 100% guarantee from our side here.
The information of the Federal Office of Public Health Switzerland applies to the binding entry conditions. In accordance with the corresponding decision in Switzerland, persons who enter Liechtenstein and who at any time during the 14 days prior to entry have been in a state or area with an increased risk of infection with the coronavirus must be placed in quarantine for ten days. They must also report to the Office of Public Health within two days of entry (telephone +423 236 73 46). Liechtenstein adopts the corresponding list of Switzerland, which includes states and areas with an increased risk of infection. The Swiss Federal Office of Public Health maintains this list of countries and regularly adapts it. The adjustments also apply to Liechtenstein. Attention, this list is updated almost weekly: Check here.
