Short-term residence permit for EU/EEA and Swiss citizens

Students who wish to take up temporary residence in Liechtenstein for the purpose of study need to apply for a short-term residence permit. Residence permits are issued by the Immigration and Passport Office and are required in order to study at the University of Liechtenstein. Visa application for students from third countries
Students from third countries need to require a visa for entry to Liechtenstein. The University provides a bank guarantee, after a deposit amounting to CHF 3,000 is paid by the student to the University of Liechtenstein. This amount is retained as a security deposit and will not be refunded until your departure.
