DOCTORAL DEGREE PROGRAMME
IN BUSINESS ECONOMICS

This programme is geared to international standards and criteria. We build our reputation on education through research – and on education in research. Our aim is to develop and promote emerging researchers as an extension of the Master’s degree programme, and at other stages of their careers.

At the University of Liechtenstein, budding researchers with a Master's degree or equivalent academic degree in business sciences/business economics and excellent records can scientifically investigate subjects within the R&D framework of the university in one of the following research focal areas:

  • Entrepreneurship and Management: Growth and Complexity
  • International Financial Services: Wealth Management (Banking, Finance, Tax)
  • Information Systems: Business Process Management

 Credits: 20 ECTS (Preparation phase) | 10 ECTS (Dissertation phase)

 Intake: The number of places is limited and subject to availability.

 Application deadline: 31 May (start winter semester) | 31 October (start summer semester) 

Tuition fees: CHF 950  (EU/EEA and Swiss citizens); CHF 1,250 (other nationals) per semester. Application fee: CHF 100
