European Architectural Medals: Liechtenstein graduate receives first prize for Best Diploma Project.
Acting on the instructions of the Liechtenstein government, and as guest of the Swiss cultural foundation Pro Helvetia, the University of Liechtenstein is attending the Architecture Biennale in Venice this year for the second time.
In 2017, the Zukunft.li Foundation decided to prepare a study on spatial development in Liechtenstein. Against the background of global developments and trends, the Institute for Architecture and Planning of the University of Liechtenstein was commissioned to reflect on the future challenges of spatial development in the Principality in a partial study and to develop visions of the future.
The "Young Talent Architecture Award" (YTAA) is considered part of the "European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award", which the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, together with the European Union, the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE) and the Council of Architects of Europe (ACE-CAE), announces every two years. It is one of the most prestigious prizes for students of architecture.
