Professorship of Entrepreneurship & Strategic Management

The professorship of Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management has set itself the goal of enabling and supporting students, managers and partners from business and society in the region to discover entrepreneurial opportunities, develop innovative business ideas and implement them in international markets. In doing so, we work in a scientifically sound but also always practice- and application-oriented manner.

The main topics of the professorship include:

  • The development of growth strategies and their implementation,
    the transformation of business models
  • Dealing with areas of tension and conflicting goals (e.g. efficiency vs. innovation or social vs. economic value creation)
  • The internationalization of companies and other organizations
the combination of cooperation and competition ("coopetition")
  • The ability of organizations not only to learn but also to selectively forget.
