Central Service Desk
The Central Services Desk (ZentraleServiceStelle) is your first contact for general information and for basic information about your studies at the University. We are happy to assist you directly or refer you to the appropriate staff members and offices. Please consult the list of office hours and service below.
Regular telephone and office hours:
Monday - Thursday 8.30 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday 8.30 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Different opening times (national holidays/ time between terms)
Shop items in stock at the Central Services Office reception desk may be purchased during office hours (cash only).
The originals together with a completed copy request must be submitted to the Central Services Office at least 3 days prior to the desired pick-up date. This service is only available to instructors!
Binding seminar papers
Ring plastic combs in various colours and sizes and plastic/cardboard covers can be purchased from the Central Service Desk upon cash payment. Students can use the binding machine for free.

Student IDs are available from the Central Services Office approximately 1 week following submission of the personal information form.
Confirmation of student status and exemption application forms (military service) are available from the Central Services Office free of charge. Architecture students are advised to contact the Institute of Architecture and Planning.
Enrolment verifications for the current semester are available subject to the receipt and posting of tuition. In the Intranet under “Registered Course of Study “ you see which semester you are registered for as well as our tuition posting.
Teaching Materials / Books
Books and other learning materials are not ordered through the Central Services Office. They must be ordered/organised by the individual students or by the instructors.
Room Reservations / Audio-Visual Aids
Any audio-visual aids (projector, laptop, etc) and/or additional rooms must be requested in writing in advance from the appropriate contact person at the Study Services.
