Start of the winter semester

Update: 27.7.2020

Dear students,

The University of Liechtenstein issued a master plan for the gradual return and a protection concept in May. In June we resumed operations on campus concerning the execution of written examinations. In the upcoming phase from September 1, the return to the campus in an adapted normality is planned.

This means for us as a presence university and for the studies in the coming winter semester that we want to ensure presence teaching on campus again - in accordance with the distance and hygiene regulations and wherever possible. The programme representatives and the staff of the Study Services are currently required to arrange the courses in the best possible way based on the now reduced capacities. Alternatives in the form of (partially) virtual teaching units are used primarily when the number of students exceeds the maximum possible capacity of the room and wearing an MNS (Mouth and Nose Protection) is not a suitable alternative. In the coming weeks, the planning will be adjusted accordingly and optimized with regard to the room capacities.

If you have specific questions about the various courses, please contact the Executive Directors of the individual study programms directly.

We wish you a relaxing summer. Stay healthy.

Best regards,
Manuel Dünser
Director of Studies
