I've been in Prague for over two months now, and each day here has been a chapter of discovery and wonder. As a student at VSE University, I've had the unique chance to immerse myself in the Czech culture, viewing life through the lens of a student and a foreign observer.

Arrival and First Impressions:
My journey in Prague began with an awe-inspiring walk through the city's historic streets. The blend of Gothic and Baroque architecture sets a backdrop that feels like stepping into a fairy tale. The Charles Bridge, with its array of statues, and the picturesque view of the Prague Castle, left me in awe of the city's rich history and art.

Academic Life at VSE VSE:
University, renowned for its focus on economics and business, presented an engaging and dynamic learning environment. The mix of local and international students created a vibrant atmosphere, rich with diverse perspectives. The campus itself is a blend of modern facilities and historic charm, reflecting Prague's ability to merge its past with the present.

Cultural Practices:
The Essence of Czech Life One cultural aspect that stood out to me was the Czech approach to dining and socializing. The traditional Czech cuisine, with dishes like goulash and dumplings, offered a hearty and flavorful experience. The cafés and pubs, often bustling with lively conversations, are central to social life here. The famed Czech beer, Pilsner, became a symbol of the relaxed and friendly nature of the locals.

Navigating Prague's Public Transport:
The public transportation system in Prague is a marvel of efficiency. Trams and buses crisscross the city, punctual and reliable. Navigating through the city using these modes of transport provided a daily interaction with the locals, offering a glimpse into their routine life.

Experiencing Prague’s Nightlife:
Prague's nightlife was another facet that caught my attention. The city comes alive at night with music and lights. From jazz clubs to modern discos, each venue offered a unique experience. The contrast between the historical daytime and the energetic nighttime of Prague highlighted the city's multifaceted personality.

Reflections and Learning:
Living in Prague has been more than just an academic journey; it's been a deep dive into a culture rich with history and traditions. It's intriguing how this experience has made me reflect on my own culture and values. I've learned to appreciate the beauty in diversity and the importance of understanding and respecting different ways of life.

Looking Ahead:
As I continue my semester here, I am eager to explore more of what Prague has to offer. The city has a way of surprising you when you least expect it. From the quiet parks to the bustling market squares, every corner of Prague has a story to tell.
