Particular attention is paid to the question of under what conditions AI-driven investment decisions can be justified. In his presentation, "Technology is not the problem - governance is", Marco Wunderlich, Head of Institutional Sales at GET Capital AG, precisely addresses this challenge: although AI has become operational in asset management, its scaling often falls short of expectations. This is less due to technological reasons and more to unclear governance structures. His presentation develops a conceptual framework for decision-making delegation and provides institutional investors with a sound basis for assessing when and under what conditions AI can be used sensibly and responsibly in the investment process.
